The Campus Clean Energy project is specifically created to contribute to a cleaner energy future while providing research and educational opportunities for faculty, students, and staff. Not only these projects reduce CO2 emissions, but they also set an example of aggressive climate action necessary to tackle climate change.
The schools participating in the Campus Clean Energy project recognize the necessity of taking bold action against climate change. These schools are signatories of one of Second Nature’s Climate Leadership Commitments—the president or chancellor has committed them to achieving carbon neutrality through the Carbon Credit and Purchasing Program (C2P2) and help tackle climate change.
C2P2 initiative supports leading universities and colleges in developing and marketing carbon offsets to reach the goal of a carbon-neutral campus. By supporting this project with your offset purchase, you will help these schools achieve carbon neutrality.
This project is certified by Verified Carbon Standard.
